Marshmyst (13th Age)
Trade in The Far Fens
The main trade for the region is agricultural, the plains surrounding Harvesthall are some of the most fertile in the realm, and the crops are always abundant. Lord Vassal promotes this and sees fit to tax (although not unduly heavily) it’s production and export via Bushellton across the Midland Sea.
Wyre and Badderswatch both produce timber. Badderswatch has saw mills, however, timber floated down river has reduced somewhat in recent years, mainly due to the meandering and inconsistent flow of the River Aelwyc and it’s route past the ruins of Mirrorpool, which remains the focus of many superstition and stories of haunting. Badderswatch now sends most of it’s trade by cart, South on the Glitterhaegen Road to Harvesthall.
